Our First Post!

Hello fellow healthy eaters :)

Our blog is based on healthy food choices that taste great and will make you feel great! Our motto is Cook Wise, Be Wise and we hope to share our passion for food with you to help you achieve your goals- whether it be to lose weight or to embrace a healthier lifestyle. We believe in fresh, unprocessed and simple foods that give us the best nutrition as well as tasting fantastic. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing with you our recipes for healthy eating and hopefully provide creative and new ways for you to get healthy and be food wise!

What we want our blog to look like:
In the near future we hope to edit the design of the blog so that it looks professional. As most of you may have guessed by now, we are first timers when it comes to blogging! But as we are very passionate about what we want to share with you, we hope to attract fellow bloggers who are interested in learning about healthy eating particularly by making a credible looking blog that is pleasing to the eye.

• For the layout of our blog we are aiming to keep it bright, fresh and very simple as we believe this is a modern look. In addition we want the focus to mostly be on the delicious foods we make and think this layout would highlight that! On the right hand side we want to have a search bar (for functionality), archives (for organisation and ease of access), categories (for organisation), recent posts, and a follow us on Twitter link.
• The colour scheme we have chosen will be an aqua blue contrasted with white and grey. We believe this blue is eye-popping and is memorable!
• The background will hopefully be simple yet creative and interesting. Not sure how that's going to work! But we hope that this will make our blog memorable, different and fun.
• Our logo will be that of a saucepan with a knife and fork on either side. For obvious reasons, we think that this would reflect what our blog is about perfectly :) It will also have our motto "Cook Wise, Eat Wise" incorporated into it.
• We have decided that each post will have a label attached to it, so this way our followers can easily find a recipe they are looking for. If they want to find a Lamb recipe, they will be able to do easily.
